Easy to use, no preparation needed. Edible and have a tender bite, great for fresh or smoked sausage. Use for snack sticks, or venison sticks. Has the mahogony color for that commercial made look. No more light or smudgy looking sticks. Do not soak in water, put directly on stuffing horn and stuff away. Each strand stuffs 8 to 10# of meat. Sold in packages of 3, 6 or 12. **Note: sometimes you have to unravel casing to fit on smaller stuffing horns.
